Fun events in Detroit this weekend.

Detroit works well on a realistic budget because neighborhoods, public art, and public spaces carry much of the city's emerging character. Start with breakfast somewhere local, then walk a neighborhood or explore a public area where you get the real feel of Detroit's renewal without spending much. The RiverWalk offers free waterfront walking and connects to different neighborhoods with unexpected art and energy.
